Intersection Úvoz (street) x Údolní (street in Brno city)
Pagač, Aleš ; Novák, Martin (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
He subject of this bachelor thesis is designing a modification for intersection between Uvoz street and Udolni street. The goal is the enhancement of public transport connection and pedestrian movement. This design should not worsen the fluence of transport in any way. My main focus are station locations and traffic lanes. The fluence of transport is handled by traffic lights coordination. Finally, I've selected just one from multiple solutions.
Road II/369 Moravská Třebová - průtah - Modernisation design
Eliáš, Radim ; Ropek, Jan (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create conditions for safe and continuous transit through the local road II / 368 Moravská Třebová. The thesis deals with the new design of the broad layout of the communication, the creation of a safe transfer of cyclists, the modification of all existing crossroads and the creation of new platforms for bus stops. Additionally, existing paved surfaces in the associated space of the local road are modified.
The issue of parking in Nove Zamky
Vajda, Ronald ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of static transport in the town of Nové Zámky. The subject of this work is the analysis of static transport in the city. The city was divided into individual logical zones. Shortcomings were identified in the analytical part of the existing situation, an evaluation was made, a SWOT analysis was made, comparisons with other cities were made, and based on these aspects, adequate solutions were proposed in the design part. The proposed solutions are designed to contribute to an overall better situation in the city, not just in the field of static transport.
Analysis and solution of transport in Znojmo
Kovaříková, Ilona ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the traffic situation in the district town of Znojmo in the South Moravian Region. The thesis deals with individual traffic modes, especially road traffic and cycling, but also with static traffic (traffic at rest), where parking and optimization design is addressed. The thesis also marginally deals with rail and bus public transport. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the existing state of the individual modes of transport in the entire cadastral area of Znojmo, but since the cadastral area of Znojmo also includes transport in the extravilan, the thesis is mainly focused on transport in the intravilan. The traffic load according to the National Traffic Census of the Regional Directorate of Transport and the degree of motorization from the databases of the Road Vehicle Register of the Ministry of Transport are analysed. In the second part of the thesis, selected problem spots in Znojmo are addressed, and measures for improving the comfort and safety of road users are proposed. Furthermore, parking is addressed, where the city was divided into areas according to functional use and the shortcomings were found and then the optimal solution was proposed.
Improving traffic conditions at Střední and Dolní Novosadská in Olomouc (road II/435) with regards to cycling and walking safety
Masaříková, Petra ; Holcner, Petr (referee) ; Smítal, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes the design of calming the streets of Middle and Lower Novosadská in Olomouc with regard to the safety of bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The proposal includes modification of existing crossroads, pavement and bus stops. In the thesis are dealt with the proposal of a new road for cycling. At the crossroads of groomed intensity was measured and calculated as current transport capacity of thecrossroads. In the Interest section is elaborated analysis of the accident.
Design of Ruská Street in Čelechovice na Hané
Rochovanský, Jan ; Smítal, Petr (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to design variants for the reconstruction of Ruská street located in the center of the village Čelechovice na Hané. It is a two-way local road marked III/44929. I consider the intersections connecting Ruská street with a road III/44930 and II/449 to be the biggest problem. These intersections have a large area and poor inclination, which does not force the drivers to slow down when arriving at the intersection. The Ruská street also lacks a complete sidewalk, so pedestrians often have to walk on the edges of the road. Therefore, this bachelor´s thesis should show possible variants of solutions, that can eliminate not only these shortcomings.
Intersection I/35 and Nádražní street in Litomyšl city
Šeda, Matěj ; Matys, Pavel (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
Thesis subject is a reconstitution of current overloaded roundabout. There are compared two options by multicriteria analysis, spiral roundabout and luminous controlled transverse crossing. The selected spiral roundabout is developed in greater detail. There are designed foot-paths, pedestrian underpass and footbridges over the river. Vehicles will be rectified by horizontal road markings and the center dividing island of the roundabout. There was measured actual traffic flow intensity. Reviews of current and perspective intensity for current and newly designed state are part of the thesis.
Measurement and Monitoring Performance Parameters of Next Generation Networks
Grenar, David ; Vlček, Čestmír (referee) ; Róka,, Rastislav (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis is concentrated on the topic of next generation access networks. In the thesis, first of all, is conducted the analysis of the current state of knowledge with special focus on current technical and legislative developments and trends in access networks. The thesis describes the current structure of access networks and analyzes the current state of the issue of access technology. Measurement and testing methods for its verification depending on the type of network or operation of IP services are also described. Subsequently, the dissertation presents mathematical methods, that can be used in order to assess the access network model. In addition, recommendations and methods for monitoring and modelling access network data are evaluated. In particular, the subject of interest in this thesis is the issue of traffic intensity. The thesis presents a proposal for the construction of a mathematical modelling for the traffic profile and its application.
The issue of parking in Nove Zamky
Vajda, Ronald ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of static transport in the town of Nové Zámky. The subject of this work is the analysis of static transport in the city. The city was divided into individual logical zones. Deficiencies were found in the analytical part of the existing state, which were subsequently addressed in the design part. The proposed solutions for parking areas are partly designed to soak up water in the city and thus contribute to a better climate in the city.
Rules designing roads for skaters
Skalická, Petra ; Bačová,, Katarína (referee) ; Kocourek,, Josef (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The dissertation deals with non-motorized transport. Specifically, it focuses directly on the new non-motorized traffic sector, which is the riders of roller skates. Title of the dissertation The rules for designing roads for skaters were selected from the point of view of unresolved issues. The main goal of the dissertation is to enable the legislative inclusion of skaters as a separate group into the transport hierarchy so that they can gain space for their movement in the transport area. The result should be primarily a reduction in accidents and an increase in road safety for non-motorized vehicles. Other objectives of the thesis include the creation of design parameter tables for methodological instructions based on the analysis of the data obtained by measuring and determining the critical traffic intensity on existing roads. The dissertation summarizes the current issue of non-motorized transport, but especially the issue of skaters transport. It assesses the situation in the Czech Republic compared to the conditions abroad. It explains the physical patterns of the skater's movements, based on which the spatial demands on the used transport space are derived. The following is an overview of selected methods dealing with measurement and evaluation of transport speeds and intensities. Depending on the values found, rules are then created for designing the basic parameters of the skateboard trail network, which includes, for example, traffic sign design and construction requirements.
